Selling to Virginia government: eVA vendor registration

Virginia state agencies, colleges and many localities post solicitations on eVA, the Commonwealth's eProcurement marketplace.

eVA is Virginia's eProcurement marketplace. State agencies and institutions use it to post solicitations and place orders, and many cities, counties and school divisions use it too.

Register

Register your business in eVA as a vendor, choose the commodity codes that match your work, and keep your contact information current so notifications reach you. Check eVA's vendor pages for the current registration and transaction fee schedule before you sign up.

Construction work

Public construction in Virginia is governed by the Virginia Public Procurement Act (Va. Code Title 2.2, Chapter 43). Payment and performance bonds are required above the thresholds in 搂 2.2-4337 ($500,000 for nontransportation construction, $350,000 for Commonwealth-funded transportation projects). VDOT highway work is advertised separately on CABB and requires VDOT prequalification (see our VDOT bidding guide).

SWaM certification

Virginia's small, women-owned and minority-owned (SWaM) program is run by the Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity. Many VDOT advertisements list SWaM participation goals alongside DBE goals; CABB shows both.
