Every day the site reads VDOT's Construction Advertisement Bulletin Board and records each advertised order (order number, let date, county or city, value, description). New lettings become data briefs automatically. eVA solicitations, legislation and agency rule changes are tracked by the editors, and original stories are written from at least two sources.
